Here’s a quick preview for the kids’ scholastic tournaments at the DCC

Scholastic Tournaments!!!  Here’s what we have planned..

• Scholastic tournaments to be held:
  • January 3, 2009
  • February 7, 2009
  • March 7, 2009
  • April = NO Tournament Support Nationals
  • May 2, 2009
  • June = NO Tournament Support Bellbrook Summer Meltdown
  • July = NO Tournament: HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
  • August 1, 2009
  • September 5, 2009
  • October 3, 2009
  • November = NO Tournament
  • December = NO Tournament
• Registration noon-12:45pm
• 3 rounds – 1st round starts promptly at 1 pm
• $4.00 registration fee for rated tournament; $3.00 for unrated tournament
• Game in 30 (this will give each person playing in the rated tournament a dual rating)
• Prizes: Fun – NOT CHESS RELATED!
